Ebay - why?

Hi, just been trying to sell my automag on Ebay. They have cancelled it twice, and now tell me that anything that can fire any projectile is not allowed. Doesn't this obviously include spring loaded toys etc.? Other sports are allowed to sell their equipment there, so why can't we?
If you think that Ebay should amend this rule to allow equipment like paintball markers, could you put your names below, which I can then show to Ebay.

Has ya mag got fully auto? and did you say it had? If so they will take it off because it comes under the fire arms act so cannot be sold on ebay.

No, they say its just because it can 'fire a projectile'
Thats stupid, because even those action man toy guns (you know the ones I mean) can fire a projectile...

Good point.....however, the picture may have given it away as being 'gun-like'.....

Sounds like you've run into a jobsworth there. Paintball markers are usually allowed - I can count six markers for sale on ebay.co.uk at the moment and I've seen plenty of 'mags on there before.

I'd re-word the advert and submit it again - if they cancel it, complain.
