actually, people think it is a Spyder at first glance. This doesn't bother me. I'm like, "no it's a Blazer, I will see you on the field." Then I smoke em. I always get pulled on the field to get chronoed, because I am shooting farther than what is expected. I shoot, and it is like 10 fps below the limit. I am having trouble finding the right spot because I am in COlorado and the altitude makes it a bit difficult for the CO2 to act. It is pretty steady though, I just have to shoot a couple more cases to get it within plus or minus 2 fps.

Tried using a preset nitro tank? My Stroker likes it a lot, and I know the blazer sings on Nitro. I was tehre when Palmer debuted the Blazer at the '96 Knoxville Indoor. He put a preset tank under it and went to play. He came off the field shaking and saying "THIS is SO COOL!!!!"

Just a thought.

No gun shoots farther than any other gun. A ball coming out of a spyder at 300 FPS is going to go JUST AS FAR as a ball coming out of a $1500 cocker at 300 FPS. And accuracy depends completely on barrel to paint match and the quality of paint.

THere is no way around this. NONE.

Unless you have a tippmann flatline - but that is only the exception.

Quiksilver, ummmm, I am going to have to disagree with you on that one. I mean everyone agrees that a closed bolt marker will generally shoot more accurate than an open bolt marker. Also, I am just going by what everyone says and what I see. My marker tends to shoot a bit farther at the same velocity. I guess I have no technical data to back that up, but even Ravi Chopra says the same thing I am saying.

I know a fare amount of people that do not believe that closed bolt markers shoot farther. But that doesn't matter.

I do not see how any gun can shoot more accurate than another with the same paint and barrel bore. I have owned cockers for years, and about 6 months ago switched to an angel. I see no difference whatsoever.

I don't want to get into this argument again, it's been argued many times.

Yeah, I feel that. It is a pretty moot argument. My barrel is matched to the breach of my marker so that vastly imporves the accuracy. It is also brass so that helps.

Ummm how does your barrel being Brass improve accuracy? I was looking at grain structure in my Books from work and Aluminum has a finer grain structure than Brass. Making the polished surface smoother. Besides that anno is micro honed so I know that an un treated brass barrel can not be smoother to make your marker more accurate! But the barrel matched to the breech is a great idea! :D Oh Phoenix see if you can figure out where I got those pics from! LOL
