thought about using a cashiers cheque?

just go to your bank and give them the cash, they will then write you the amount out onto their cheque, post it (recorded and insured to be safe).

cheque arrives and it clears straight away, then send gun.

and as they say bob's your uncle

A cashiers cheque does not clear straight away, but it is garunteed funds (cannot be cancelled)
