a poss solution- tilt your marker back when it's not gassed up- does the rear block slide freely backwards? mine didn't and was showing the same symptoms your was- lubed the ram shaft with a very light gun oil (lovejuice) hey presto ram was smoother and the friction was removed, i then fitted a nexus ram and QEV's and it flys.

heres what happened.. i turned my back block one more round and its cycling faster but now its rigth againstthe back of the marker without a small gap

When you say "slow" exactly how slow...and I assume that is different to before?
