its the same thing.... i know i have done over 14.7 on my impy.....how do i know this??? because it beeps at me (in vision off) when you outshoot the cap of 14.7

its just the way manufacturers show how fast their markers can cycle....notice noone ever put a bps on a mechanical cocker? the planet website used to say something along the lines of 'how fast can you move your finger' its pritty much the same with electros only some of them have an electronic limit

i do agree some manufacturers eg icd with the bushmaster advertise the electronic limit (theres is 66.6 bps i think) and they are unachiveable where as the 13.5 mentioned for a speed is more realistic but i find it hard to belive that anyone could fire it for a second and make 13.5 balls leave the barrel....thou id be impressed if they could!

big big titties
i know on my captains impy, as were sponsored by adrenaline, he got an adrenaline board for his impy and theoretically it can do like 1,000,000 balls per second...but a gun cant cycle that fast...:( :( imagine that......a hopper gone in less than like 0.0001 second hehe

to make your eblade faster

Hey Matt. I don't know where you stand on the trigger bouncing issue, but if you want your E-Blade to really rip I will tell you something that will help. Open up the right side of the grip where you see the battery. Push the little black button on the board above the battery. Cycle through the menu until you find "filter" cycle through the new menu to find TPUL this is the trigger pull time. Default should be 20. That means that the trigger has to be pulled for 20 milliseconds to be counted as a valid triggerpull. set it as low as you like, My E-Orracle is 10 and my Black Magic E-Blade is 5. Set it lower to make it faster. Press the middle button to confirm the new setting. It will bring you back to the filter menu. cycle through it to find Trel. It is the trigger release time. Same as the TPUL set it lower to make it faster. My E-Orracle is at 4 and my Black Magic E-Blade is at 5.
Follow these instructions and you will be holding a screaming banshee :D

Something Wrong With the E-Blades (Apparently)

well after a long hard discussion with my boss (Frazer Withers - Messingham Paintball Challenge) we came to talk about the e-blade.... Andy Draiten from RPS Chameleons... a good friend of mine, was telling me about one game in the MM league. on how a guy was shooting an E-Blade and since cockers were ment to be fired slow not superly fast, his Back BLock split in half... i dunno whether its true or not... but it doesnt sound tooooo goood.

I want an E-Blade....
but being a poor student sucks

well if your cockers timed better..

that shouldnt happen, cos you really want a tiny gap between the back block and the body when the block is forward, so they dont smack into each other every cycle, and make the loud clanking sound. thats probly what will break the back block.

Never heard of that happening and I've launched one or two balls out of mine:)
I certainly wouldn't worry about one case thats pretty certain to be due to amatuer tinkering - ask the ever growing number of E-blade owners what they think about them or feel free to collar one of us for a try at the next tourney;)

The back block is built to take a lot of stick and as previously stated it was probably down to some bad user adjustments or just one of those mechanical failures that are just inevitable.
Remember the e-Blade may be new but the e-cocker isn't. The Race frame must be nearly 3 years old now and how many back blocks breaks have you heard about.
If you want an e-blade mate, just save up and get one mate. You have got an excellent cocker already so all you need to do is add the frame to it, cost £300 - £350, a lot cheaper than buying a new marker. That's all I did to my 2003 Standard WGP Cocker without problem. Save up and then talk to Planet about fitting it for you. Scunnie to Manchester is not to far.
