it's the circuit matey........... I've had the same thing happen. If water gets in there you can have problems....... looks similar to low battery, then all is fine once it's dried off. Not common, either...just bad luck.
Just pray it never gets a soaking again :)

Thought that was the case Iaan, remember it happening vaguely to Chefs e-blade...

Can't happen everytime to every e-blade every time it rains though other wise more people would have mentioned it :)

There isn't anything wrong with it now mate. Just didn't seem to like getting wet... as soon as it has dried out it is working spot on again :)

same thing

The same thing happend to me 2 weeks ago during a moist day. Before that it never happend. (also new battery etc..)

I have a rather bad rubber handle, because it doesn't fit very well. If I squeez it to hard you can see the inner electronics and water may enter without me seeing it.

It feld as if the cocking wasn't going totaly the the back, so I changed the cocking back rod so it would back more and that seemed to help also a little.

I have to test it again, to see if it's still the problem.

For the rest I freaking love the thing.

The silly thing is when Parksey's went down, I took out my spare, which had fired 1000 balls without problem on thursday, gassed it up and it had the same problem and yet this had been in the bag all morning.

Coldness and dampness could ill effect the board or battery, infact a change of temperature can slightly effect metals too. Though i used my nexus up at mayhem on sunday. It was cold, wet, muddy and damn windy and was previously used at the last PGI's with the same battery. Yet was shooting consistently and fast, with no problems at all.

I would say get the guys up at planet to have a look. Theres gotta be something wrong with either a component, or the board or sumthing. If there is, they will find it.
