Okay used my Nexus last week at the PA, then this week at Uttoxeter.

Marker was running sweet as a nut until it started raining yesterday? Then for some reson it would sometimes 'fart' and only half cock...

Marker had not been changed in any way or form. So just borrowed another marker for the last 2 games and thought I would look at it today.

So gassed her up, and no problems at all? Only thing I can think of is something getting wet?

Anyone got any ideas on what it could have been, and how to stop it happening again?

Any help appreciated...

Dave

Maybe your ram didn't like it, but it could have been your 'noid, as they are exposed to water etc.

I was thinking more water on the hammer causing the sear to slip? Possibly? Just put 1000 rounds through it though without a blip, so my only conclusion can be something got wet and caused the problem :)

sounds like a bit of damp on the circuit or in somewhere is shouldnt be

the mechanical side of it, ie the sear wouldnt really be affected by water...in theory it should work underwater.

id say you got a drop of water in the wrong place and once it had dried out you were sorted

maybe

the bolt/ram got wet/or summink, causing it to drag more than usual, and seem like the cocking pressure is v. low, so it short stroked.

thats my theory. im no cocker tech, but that job would be sick.....
