E Blade Breech sensor

Well..it all depends what the sensitivity is set at...go to EYE>SET..and see what it says..should be around 128 I think...also...what colour bolt do you have...?

Why do you assume the eye is faulty...are you having some problems? What problems?

The eye is registering a sifference, between open, and closed, so it should work...does it read paint?

the problems with the eyes often comes from them shorting on the back what i do and it works well is. wash the eye front and back carefully in soapy water. then leave in an airing cupboard over night until dry. get either nail varnish or some sort of lacquer like car paint etc and paint thickly on the back where it is soldered (is that how you spell it?) leave to dry and you should have a working eye!! i was told this at planet so it is a real fix. or just go to radio spares and buy a new sensor for 75p and solder on!! hope this helps

I have a black delrin bolt (shouldn't that read 120 ish)

and when the bolt is pulled all the way back it still only reads 115!!

It appears to detect paint, but when shooting with the eye on it just holds the bolt back for whatever the pre-set time is and then completes the cycle before shooting the paint!!

Edit:---

Just noticed another problem, may be connected, when I check the battery power it says LOW, before displaying the true power (in this case full as its a new battery, have tried 3 duracells now)

*bang head on wall some more*

Did you check the EYE sensitivity like I said..should be set to around 128. go to EYE>>SET>>then set the reading to 128....also clean eyes front and back as said by Fatbeerboy...if not...get a new sensor. Use good batterys in the frame, and take it out when not in use, as it will drain real quick...also...make sure you turn the gun off, as it doesnt have atime elapse off setting.

Sorry, Yes, forgot to say, set to 128, only use fresh Duracell ultra's.
Not sure why it isn't reading an open circuit when no bolt/ball in the breech, have removed the sensor and even in the open air it wont read an open circuit (ie 250)

Going to strip the gunk off the back of the eye and re-nail varnish it now, thanks FBboy :)

Cheers for the pointers Mr Skeet

Well, cheers for the help guys, it appears to be fixed now with Fatbeerboy's tip.
I stripped off the gunk on the back of the eye, cleaned it all in hot soapy water, let it dry and bingo, eye working again!

Fickle bloody markers, obviously knows it getting sold :) or the fact I haven't bought it anything shiny for christmas.
