So the SP wagon is off to a good start with Dy.....nasty shockers doing the business, I guess you cant really call the shocker,? or did SP have an injunction which stipulated that the other teams had to hop thier way to the snake?
nope, seeing as dynasty nearly won everything last year with angels and the fact that their guns are probs loads different to the stock ones availible to us.
I admit they did win on skill, but what percentage does your kit contribute to that? Before I get flamed I like F1 and its generally considered that its driver 70% car 30%, you couldnt stick ****ty Jenson Button in a Ferrari and expect him the win. But what about balling, everyone is so convinced that one marker outshoots the other, but if yout good you can win with anything... right?
When you get to the top level of guns then there aint much to choose between them in terms of performance.
Reliability, efficiency, useability and of course personal preferance are where the differances start.
He isn't that ****, he got a hard fought well deserved 3rd on Sunday so don't rubbish him too much.
The thing with top level markers these days is that they really are much of a muchness. They all shoot friggin fast, they are all about as accurate as each other and the only thing that (for me) separates them is reliability and support. Give Dynasty E-Spyders and i still think they would rip up the field ahead of them, just not quite as well as if they had Timmys or whatever.
I feel that as long as the equipment is reliable and competent then the team has no less chance of winning than the other with the most bling bling gat. If you want put a figure on it, which is a kinda pointless exercise really then....90% skill...10% kit
EDIT: **** just realized Paul has pretty much already said this, great minds think alike i guess.
