interesting, when was it they moved to sp? 04 i think, i was under the impression they were on a multi-year contract, maybe that is up. Empire were amongst the first to start reigning in sponsorship deals, so obviously they see good value in the dynasty brand. Mo mention of what they will be shooting?

Heres the press release from 01/08/2009 pbnation

Seven-time consecutive NPPL champion team, Dynasty of San Diego,
California has chosen to shoot the Luxe premium paintball marker
exclusively in 2009.

For Immediate Release - The NPPL Super-7 Annual Championship is one of
the most coveted trophies in the world of paintball. The best
professional teams from across the globe have competed, hoping to
claim it as their own. Eighteen pro teams fought it out each year
while literally hundreds of amateurs competed for the chance to go
pro. Since the Super-7 Series began in 2003, only one team has taken
the championship trophy home. That team is San Diego Dynasty.

To be the best, Dynasty shoots the best. In 2008, the team began
incorporating the all new Luxe Paintball Marker into its equipment
lineup. Never before has a brand new marker moved so quickly into the
winner's circle in the hands of true professionals. Pleased with its
performance on and off the field, Dynasty has chosen to shoot the Luxe
exclusively through the 2009 season where they will compete in the PSP
and Millennium Series tournaments.

"Our choice of marker all comes down to performance," says team
captain Ryan Greenspan. "The Luxe is fast, accurate, and it doesn't
kick. That's what we need to win. After each point we have to turn
things around in the pit in a hurry. Nothing compares to the Luxe.
When you see how fast we can strip it, clean it and be back in the
game, it just makes the choice of what we shoot all the easier to
make."

DLX Technology Group is pleased with Dynasty's choice. "It's great
having them on-board with the Luxe," says DLX Coordinator Darryl
Trent, "They're the best known team in paintball, because they win -
and because they're a great group of guys who go out of their way to
help grow the sport, and help young teams to improve."

DLX designed the Luxe from the ground up as a true luxury paintball
marker. It has the performance the pros need to win, impeccable style,
and is backed by red-carpet sales and support through the Luxe
Prestige Dealer Network.

"It's fantastic to see Dynasty shooting, and winning with the Luxe,"
Mr. Trent says, "and we can't wait to see where they will take our
creation this season."

DLX Technology is dedicated to melding cutting edge technology with
solid tournament performance to build the ultimate luxury paintball
marker. To learn more, visit LuxePaintball.com.

yeah, they dont really have the flair of the old ones, they almost look like stock team Jerseys that any local amatuer team could get but with more sponsors logos. Needs a bigger dragon!

prefered them in the flex's too

then again, change is never really welcomed well, unless its a slow transition and thats only because most people dont notice the change until its too late.

Il give it time before its appreciated
