How are you connecting the solinoid top board to the ego board?

I might do this mod one day if i can get a hold of an old ego frame.

What I did was...I took the top board, & threw it in the bin, problem solved!

Well no actually I sent it to Dskize , but anyways point being that you don't need the top board- you solder 2 pre-crimped wires on the holes where the top board slid on, and plug the precrimped wires into a 2-pin plug (or even a cut down 4-pin plug...), whence it can be plugged into the 2 pin socket on the ego board.

Eyes, had to use DM eyes as neither ego nor shocker would work. (you have to splice another wire on to make the 2-pin DM eyes, into 4-pin eyes which will plug into the 4-pin socket )

but surely your shocker would then have to be milled for BB eyes? or are the dm's eyes reflective?

Yeah I am having the body milled a little for the eyes, and the frame milled a lot for the shocker solenoid (it has to move backwards into the frame as the shocker soli is longer it seems)

edit: oh I see, I have no idea whether they're reflective or not , I had heard they worked...and they do, so, yeah .

i think it has originality over all the tohers... though they may be milled differently... theyre really still one solid block. where-as this one has some great chunks taken out of it... looks good to me almost like the powerlyte or trinity ion bodies

Dyeing the while Delrin should be easy then, Lemme know what you want it to look like and I'll give you some advice
Currently still waiting for Sie2050 and Tom Allen to take a look at my BB eye install. Should be 3 of us with the Shego mod soon.
Milling the Ego frame with a Dremmel, which is taking a wee while
Got all the electronics working OK on the Nerve though.
DM eyes are normal BB eyes, transmitter and receiver, not reflective.
The evolve is a full system and will depend on your bolt guide (It dunt have one )
