Dyeing shocker delrin?

I've seen some threads where someone dyed their white timmy delrin bolt, to red; just wondering, would it be possible to dye a shocker bolt sleeve a different colour?

I heard that delrin swells up when it's wet (would it return to the original size?)

And...I hear you ask, why bother dyeing anything inside a shocker..?
I've bought this (and no, I don't have it yet; they're not my hands!)

Do we think bits of dirt etc might get into the body through the holes?

Also, not having finished the marker yet; I've never opened up a complete/working one to see how they work; do the bolt sleeve and/or firing can move? or are they held in place, and the bolt moves?

Ta ;)

oh...I looked at it & the firing can will be visible as well; it's a kinda brown colour...; if I spraypaint it & clearcoat the (alu) can is there a risk of damaging the body, performance etc?
Do you think I should get it annoed, spray it, or leave it?

What you want the firing can to look like Rosie? What bolt is it? I got an Evolve bolt and silver can I'll swap you if you like?
It was me who dyed the Timmy bolt red, but you can't dye black Delrin, I've even tried boiling it in bleach :D

I've got a white bolt sleeve, and a kinda brown green alu firing can if I remember corectly; all I'm getting from him is the body (at greeeaaat expense :() and putting my own bits in it

I'm not so dumb to think I could dye black plastic to another colour ;)

It's the normal HE bolt I think?
A silver can would be great, :) Though I need to get home first, just to make sure of what colour it is; I can't actually remember fo' sho' :)

And you need to stop biting your nails :p
They're man hands!! eww I'm offended , I have nice hands!

basically nothing you can see there moves.

All hte movement is made by the firing bolt that runs inside of the two firing cans.

I wouldnt paint the cans as when you were taking them out and in to say grease up the firing assembly then the paint might scrape off in the small holes inside hte body that operate the bolt.
Thanks soo much, I was looking for one earlier but couldn't find it :)
OK, I will maybe try swapping it for another colour or something, thanks!

God knows, he's american, he had it milled, he put the tape on, I saw the body in a part-out on PBN a coupla days ago & decided to buy it to finish off my shocker ego mod thing because of it's individuality :)

Question is, do we like it better than other PL bodies? I like the ton ton, shocktech, etc, but it's a qu. of whether they'd swap for this...?
