Yes the C4s are da bomb of paintball trouser clobber.

Definetly downsize, but if your munchkin size a la me and various other players, you have to take the adjusytable strap from the left hand side and velcro it it the right and vice versa. This way they stay up nice and snuggly.

I'd go with the smalls - I'm closer to a 28" waist than a 30" and the smalls fit perfectly with the velcro tabs done up as far as they go - plenty long enough too (I take a 32" inside leg).
