What is the best lenghth for a dye titanium boomstick, considering it is so light i figured that i could get away with a longer barrel despite the fact that i would probably be tripping over it! i think that the optimal size for the barrel in order for me to have maximum portability and accuracy would be to get a 16 inch barrel....

does anyone disagree?

Are there any other better barrels than the dye titanium for the same sort of price... I am looking for very accurate barrels to go with my very accurate tricked out matrix.

I use 14 in barrells. I have a 12 and a 14 in. boomstick and a 14 in. freak. All together I do not believe there is any differnce between the accuracy level of the 12 to 14. I like the 14 because its easier to aim with. If you play up front a 12 or 10 is fine. 14 is altogether my favorite.

I wouldn't go with a Ti Boomer if I were you. One they cost more money than the others for no perceivable advantage, and two they corrode. Yes, they corrode horribly, rendering them worthless. An Ultralite is half the price, you can anodize the whole thing, and they don't corrode. Get one. 14" is the best length unless you're wanting to play front (unless it's on Supair, in which case you'd still want the 14") which would merit a 12" or even a 10".

Titanium, again, is accurate, but not for long as nitrogen corrodes it into titanium nitride. The process is visible to the eye as sparks coming out of the barrel, especially visible on cloudy days. If you want to spend $170+ on something that will last maybe 3-4 months and go to crap, well I guess that's your option. Boomsticks on the other hand last 6 years or more.

well im planning on using a big co2 tank because N2 isn't available at the mo, does that react with the barrel? It will probably be a while before i get a nitro sytem because i can't find any suppliers in the very south of the UK that will supply the gas.

If anyone knows a good N2 supplier in Hampshire preferably portsmouth to southhampton region please let me know.

go to a couple of dive shops and explain what you want to do and see if they can help,
it may mean you'll have to buy a dive tank, and a fill station, but these will be mobile you can take them to tourneys, rec days whatever..should belots of dive shops round/ in portsmouth

Go for the ultralight, it has the same finishing on the inside making it just as accurate, its super sexy and super light.... even ultralight you might say:)
