Don't wanna nit pick too much but the barrels we are talking about are stainless steel and titanium, the breech IS ally but then as I said before UNLESS the barrel unscrews its self you don't need an O ring (Shockers are prone to this so that is a given to put an O ring on Shocker barrels) but other barrels..nah you will create a gap in the breech if you put an O ring on the barrel (not that good) ...so unless you have problems with the barrel moving don't bother. Also the player who is asking about this issue lives in the the UK and since when did we ever have hot weather ?

we had this problem when putting them on our ir3's

u have to just work the barrel in and out,put some lube on it and just work it for a while, then soon it will be easy to get it in and out. happened with bout 3 of our guns
