Dye Titanium barrel problem....

I have recently got myself two Dye Titinaium barells (12 & 14") and they screw in lovely when used on my Angel LCD.

However, I just tried to put them into my IR3 and they will not go in all the way (oh errr missus!!!) - any suggestions would be good as to why not and what can be done to rectify!!!

Cheers

Just live with the gap, and Phillip although an O ring would solve the gap problem, the only time you put an O ring on a barrel normally is when it unscrews itself when fireing (like Shockers) :)

Thanks Mark, appreciate the advice. Will try it tomorrow at the South West League tournie and see if it is a prob.

My concern was that by having a gap at the front will also mean a gap towards the breach = choppy/messy paint everywhere.
I would guess that if you were able to look through the breech you will find that the back of the barrel is all the way in...so no gap there and if you were to compare side by side the Titanium and a normal Dye barrel I would also guess you will find the unthreaded part is longer by the amount of the gap you have found at the front of the Angel (I do seem to remember when I was looking at a Titanium barrel it had a slight gap too (this was on an LCD btw)
