If the gun hasn't arrived by friday, we'll sort out a full refund, is that okay?

As requested, above is the post where the owner of the gun stated he would give me a refund if the gun had not arrived by yesterday.
Going off the tone of your post, it seems that you - as the person who posted the thread, sold the gun then passed the money to the owner - now appear to be reluctant to give me a refund.
Which is odd, since you didn't own the gun in the first place.
As you have stated you passed the money to the owner, I would say that you are in no position to say who does or does not get a refund. That is the owner's perogative.
You were acting as an agent for Titanthisone - or a frontman, if you prefer a more casual term - when you posted the thread, yet you chose to conceal that fact.
I suggest that you and Titanthisone - the owner of the gun - sit down and get your stories straight.
As it stands, I am out pocket by £280. I have no gun to show for that.
What should have been a simple transaction, if you had spent a few more quid on insuring the gun and sending it recorded delivery, has turned into this mess.
You can only claim £48 from RM for the method of postage you chose to use. That leaves £232 the owner needs to find from his own pocket.
As you may know, the process of claiming from RM takes a few weeks.
If it is your intention to make me wait another 14 days to see if the gun turns up, and then wait another few weeks until the RM claim is sorted, we are talking about at least another 4-6 weeks until I see any money from you.
So the simple question is - if the position was reversed, would you wait that long?
