Correct me if I'm wrong but wether or not a lens is 2 layers (thermal) or not doesn't actually have much bearing on their anti-fog properties. Pretty much everyne I know who has had a pair of Invisions says that they are useless when it comes to fogging up and they are dual layered.

What makes the difference is the coating on the lense. From stuff that I've been hearing, the lenses in the Profilers rarely have any problem with steaming up. These lenses are only single layer and the coating on them is a hell of a lot more hard wearing than that of the one on the pro-flex or invision.

Had invisions since they came out 2 year ago. Not had them fog once, even when wearing them for long periods of time.

However the whole team now wears profilers and no one has a fogging problem apart from me??!!

Think it just depends what shape your head is to whether they fit snugly or not :)

Our rentals are thermal :) ...Only the best for the Irish ;)

I've had the problem with dye invisions fogging up the odd time, all depends on alot of things really.
I've wore dye invisions and nothing else since they were made.
Buy a fan mate, their a good investment.

i think its also to do with how close the lens is from your face, on invisions, because they are such a small profile the lens is close to your face so not all the evaporation will leave through the vents, whereas on vforce gogs, its a goldfish bowl!

I love most of Dye's stuff but their goggles really don't cut the mustard compared to the competition. The chin and face coverage is poor, the lenses are a bitch to change, the coating on them is also pretty rubbish and results in persistent fogging and of course the poor design of shape means that most glasses wearers are unable to use them.

The Profilers are very close to the face but I can still manage to wear my glasses underneath them. The reply of 'buy the fan' regarding the fogging issue with the Invisions really doesn't hold much weight. I'd rather not pay another 30 quid for a fan on top of the original 60 quid just so that they operate in manner that they were originally advertised.

ive never had a problem with my invisions fogging, ive had em about 3 months now and lately whenever ive bn wearing them its been hot and sunny and ive bn sweatin like a biatch and i dont use the fan.

i agree they have smaller face and chin protection then most but its not drastically smaller.

in my opinion they are the best looking goggles out there and quality wise as good as any other dye product you can get.

much prefer em to my pro - flex

:D :D
