Idk dude, perhaps just a fire hydrant at the side of the road and a car slid into it? I am not that knowledgeable about fire hydrants, so will back out of this

I'm not trying to argue Vox, it's just that the woman who was reporting on scene said that someone had hidden a fire hydrant up on the hill and then hit it, so it sounded like it was a deliberate thing. I can only speculate though, I only know about it from this video.

Not saying you are mate I didn't hear that bit, although isn't a fire hydrant something pretty much dug into the ground?

Supposedly, although clearly not as well as they should be. I also thought they were connected to water pipes and such? That just confuses things even more though...
