I'd only ever consider a DAM if I wanted to use it as a mag-fed gun exclusively. With a loader on top or even the box mag I found it really heavy and awkward so I'd never use it in the grand majority of games I play. I've almost bought one a number of times as a curiosity but I've just not had enough opportunities to play proper mag-fed games so I can't justify it.
If you want a great woodsball style marker I'd strongly recommend the Empire D*Fender. I've had one since they first came out and it's been excellent. They are considerable cheaper than a DAM from new, come with a freak barrel and an apex freak and they are based on the supremely reliable Axe engine which is more efficient and easier to look after
