I guess to make sure the gun is totally de-gassed, and get a rubber grip or something to get a hold of that little lip to twist. It should twist. Have you ever removed the bolt before? You may want to oil around the twist piece, to try to loosen it...and when you get it off, clean and re-oil so it wont fook later. IF you decide to hit your cocker, take off the E2 first.

Are you sure you didnt have a breach break resulting in some shell getting trapped between the bolt and the body? That would make it much harder to remove the bolt.
on my ultralite the bolt twists to the right 1/4 turn then pulls out. you can get a replacement delrin one made, i got one made from http://www.geocities.com/dezignbolts/ only takes him a couple of days to ship it. you get an extra 20-30 fps just by swappin the bolt, more efficient i think.
