not that i disagree with you, but any one with half a brain patents things, someone holds patents for virtually every safety device in existance ie seatbelts, crash helmets, safety harnesses etc etc. the blokes a genius tbh, i wish i held the patent!!!

Yeah but he didn't invent it. It doesn't take a genius to steal someone elses idea, or to see why that is bad.

You are correct that it is good to patent anything new, if only to stop crap like this.

I have patents coming on the barrel plug and safety tank valves, none of which are going to be used to extort money from other companies though. We have already agreed to allow people to use the safety tank valve (XLT) IP as it is more important to us to keep people safe.
