Not very pc of me to say this but avoid Carnage paintballs like the plague. Infected were using them they said that 30% of them broke in the barrel, and those that hit on target stained badly. I have one tshirt and jersey that after 2 full washes still haven't got the orange stains out and they went in the wash as soon as I got back from Campaign and were washed Saturday night as well by a team mate.

.
Totaly agree with you Dan, I have some carnage from CC, very inconsistant, more barrel breaks than actual shots. So much so it has stained my carbon fibre barrel tip.

Is dark sports really that good? their rec balls are making me cry, they dont seem to break on anything...

but i would be happy to give the tourney balls a try as everyone seems to be going nuts for them...

Be carefull player having deals with brand will always tell you their are the best paintballs.
Just try paintballs, and get your own opinion about paintballs ;)
Most paintballs are good on this day, except if bad batch (like the carnage during millenium), or baldy kept (by the player, the shop or even the supplier ...).

I've used the Dark Sports Field and Rec, and Tournament paint, all good imho, and Im not saying that because of any deals I may or may not have with them. :) The Field and Rec has a harder shell and like any cheaper paint you are going to get some that go boing but for the price its a very good paint if you look after it. The tournament paint we had no problems with and broke on target every time like a dream, without any breaks in the barrel or hopper. I had it in my car for a week afterwards and it still quite happily broke easily on a drop test with no problems, and it retaining its shape despite constant temperature changes.

We used Dark sports tourney grade at the last CPPS. Have to say, it was the best paint my lads ever shot. Very consistant, Shot straight and broke on impact without any barrel breaks all day.
Most of us know how warm it was that day, the heat had no negative effect on the paint.
