Double ball detent for IR3?

Just an idea...

the angel gel on the right hand side of an IR3 looks to be in the right position for a second ball detent... anyone know if anyone has fitted two ball detent to an angel b4 or even if its possible....

The new WDP speed is built off an IR3 body, and it has dual detents. I suppose you could drill and tap a hole and put another detent in. Having two does absolutely nothing for performance though, so it doesn't hardly seem worth the effort.

Ive seen it done mate, so it is possible

It is possible and helps with force feed loaders such as the Halo.

I suggest maybe removing the detent on the other side and drilling straight through the original detent hole to ensure you get the right location for the second detent.

As pointed out the new 'Speed' comes with dual detents.
