He started strong. He had her on the ropes when he was asking why we should believe she can effect change now when she's been in a position to effect change for 30 years.
She nailed him on racism and sexism though, he didn't handle that well at all.
As for the interruptions, don't know if you watch a lot of these debates, but last night everyone was actually very civil. There are normally way more interruptions than that. You'll see in the next 2 debates, it will degenerate into a farce, especially in the last one.
Clinton has to be scripted. She has so many skellingtons in the closet she can't afford to go off message. It also really helps when a democrat is the adjudicator. We will see a republican as the next one I think, and Hillary will face tougher questions.
I don't feel it's fair to say Trump is a liar. It would be fair to say that both candidates are liars, for sure. I counted more lies from Hillary than Trump, but I may have missed a few, and obviously I don't know all the truths, no-one does. She did say that deleting 33,000 emails was 'a mistake'. That's a lie right there. Ever deleted an email by mistake? Sure you have. Ever deleted 33 thousand emails by mistake? No, and how can someone do that by accident? She lied about Benghazi. She even lied to the families of the Americans killed there. Fact is, there isn't an honest option to choose... Hillary says the facts on her website are correct. Trump says the facts on his website are correct. I don't think either are. I would have more faith in Trumps numbers than Hillary's simply because he is a less experienced politician, and doesn't have the enhanced play-book that Hillary does.
