The tournament side of paint ball came out the woods 5 or so years ago, this was the best thing that ever append to paintball. It gave it a more of an appeal making it faster, more colourful and appealing for today’s adrenalin seekers.
Crawling around woods dressed up as mercenaries is still practised by a band off followers who get enjoyment out of it, but this side of paintball will never take over from the tournament side.
Both can and do run side by side nicely, but the only comparison between them both is the little gelatine balls that get shot out of a paintball marker.
