Well, Wone Concepts is sponsored by WDP and they're a Pro-division US team. But...the didn't do very well last year. There's been a roster overhaul, so we'll see how they do next year.
I'm sorry, but there was a huge thread about WONE in the PBN nppl section a while back....now it's been a few months since I read that...but I'm pretty sure at the time they had won 1, maybe 2 games max in all their pro games. They may be called pro, but anyone can do that with the right amount of cash.
Yeah, last year Wone was pretty terrible (I believe it was Chicago where they got 42 points for the whole tournament--that's averaging 5 points per game), but the new roster is almost completely different and has some all star faces in it. Maybe they can actually do something this year.
Isn't Avalanche flying the WDP flag this year? If they are they are most definetely the WDP flagship team now that they cut Dynasty loose. With KAPP Factory AM moving up to Avalanche 2004 is looking pretty good for Ed and his boys.
My understanding is that the KAPP players that are now Avalanche did not want to leave their intimidators behind. That's further supported by the announcement of Warped Sportz that they are releasing a Dark Intimidator.
This really sucks. I like Dynasty, but they're shooting the Nerve or Shocker so I can't support them. I figured I'd go for Avalanche, but now they're shooting Timmies. All I want is a good, American WDP team to root for, but I guess I'll just stick with Dynasty for '04 cause I know their style and players.
