as I was in and out of consciousness reading Tyger's novel perhaps I became slightly confused. Around here "tongue-in-cheek" usually turns out to be a big chaw of Redman.

Oh, I was put off of scenario games 2 years ago, but that's another story. This one "scenario" game wasn't a scenario game. It's a walk-on day with some weird rules and "mission based" play. We'd play a mission, head back in, play a mission, head back in... you get the idea.

I have seen people eliminated from games 'cos they put their barrel bung in to early (and too late) It strikes me that if you bung you remove yourself from being able to play. As for being tackled if people want to do that they should play American football or (far tougher in my humble opinion) Rugby league/Union ( much less padding, Rugby hurts) in the environment of a Rec event (usually woods) that isn't just stupid it could hospitalize or kill players, stupid isn't near enough to the mark on that issue.
