Do you need any more of a reason to lose that drop forward?

The first time I noticed them come out was when people were playing in the woods and using massive Govnair 3000psi systems. With that coming directly out the back of your marker it was more like shooting a rifle :( . I reckon back in the woods you could get away with playing 'less-tight' as the fields were generally bigger etc.

They are bent though ;)

so we just kept them? weird isn't it. Horrible bloody things, I've got them on mine and never really thought about why.

Seems to be that way. What's worse is using them with a 90 degree space frame- completely misses the point of being able to get your hand round them comfortably (like in the photo on the previous page).

I remember like 2 years ago going to the field with a straight ASA and all the "good" players saying, "You should put a drop on that thing" (and we all know that anybody who was anybody had one of those tacky lookin', fugly Drop Zone cradles) Now someone goes to the field with a drop, and everyone says, "Why do you have drop on that thing?" :) Fickle lot, us paintballers. Drop forwards are all about how you like to use your marker. I have a friend with a drop on his autococker that makes it way too tight for me to shoot comfortably, but he loves it. Same as low rise feednecks v. high or mid rise feednecks I guess, just how you like to shoot and what makes you feel comfortable.

And who is Dynasty to tell everyone how they should have their marker set up? Jesus. Bloody egotistical lot.
