Do you actually every surrender?

Micah :

Ben as in "Limited Pump" guy? I've played with him, he's a blast to play with.

And, yeah, I've yelled that at guys with uberguns and no skill to back it up. I figure a $20 will cover my paint for the day if I'm shooting stock.

Then again, to get a surrender ANYWHERE the best way is to say "Would you like to surrender?" with your barrel leveled at their groin, throat, or goggles. If they can see that you are about to cripple them, at least in the short term of their life, they'll usually see the wisdom in what you're saying. Would I shoot them? Well, depends how pissed I am. last time I played, I'da torched the mother-f'er and made him cry for his momma.

In a tourney, forget it. Shoot them, put them down, and move on. It's safer.

I once got two players to surrender to me !
We were playing an indoor feild and they were holed up at the top of a little tower. I ran in the bottom, screamed at the top of my lungs, and battered at the walls. They both screamed "We surrender!!" and came slinking out.
Job done :)

The other frontman and myself were advancing on the last guy left on the other team. It's a 2 on 1, but neither of us have any air left(the gauge was around 500 psi). The last couple of opponents we took out were from close range, and we were having to manually re-cock after each shot. We came from opposite sides and as soon as he saw us he surrendered (he claimed he was out of paint). Chances are our shots would have rolled out of our barrels and fell to his feet. Talk about a story to tell:D !

Do you ever surrender, that is the question? It depends on the type of field that you play on. I play indoors tactical type rec paintball and yes i have had people surrender if i give them the opportunity.

if i were in a situation that was not winnable or that I could not get out of then yes I think I would surrender. I haven't had this come up yet but i am sure that it will.

I would not give up thought in the event that my team had been all eliminated and i was the only person left, then no i wouldn't surrender.

Now to further the question and because of the type of paintball i play then let me ask this. If you aare playing rec. ball and you get hit (no doubts) but the ball doesnot break, would you consider yourself out?

the ball must hit you, break, and leave a mark bigger than a quarter. Then and only the are you truly out. A lot of players simply feel a ball hit them and don't check to see if it broke before calling them selfs out it's a chronic newbie mistake.

I admit that I use to call myself out like that up until about the 3rd time I went. I'm actually amazed at how many times I was about to call myself out when I realized that I should check first and it didn't break! It's like being re-born...I always seem to do good after I get lucky like that.
