Before everyone starts kicking off, IT WAS ONLY 2 players, How do I know this, becuause I was the ref. As I left the site today, I said I wouldnt come on the forums and get involved. The whole issue was eventually sorted at the even, with me being asked if I wanted to press charges, I declined.
The behaviour of a few players has unfortunately tarnished what are a good team, if they learn to control themselves. Connor got banned because he didnt like a call, then walking to the dead proceded to shoot a live player from the opposition team. He was then asked to step to one side, so just penalty could be assessed. He decided he didnt like this and basically threatened to kick my F**King head in, and push me. A player who does this will be banned no if or buts. He went off the field and had to be physically restrained by who I believe to be his manager(not 100%) on this. The guy flipped his lid and was out of order. NK played some more games, it didnt work for them and decided to have some fun.
Thats fine, but spanky, both you and I know those 2 players were gunning for me off the break later on. The only reason nothing more happened, because I didnt want the police to be involved, what those two did was ASSAULT with MALICIOUS INTENT.
To the 3 NK players that came to me to later apolgise(Spanky, NEV and 1 other, not sure whom though) I have respect for you, you acted like adults. The other players need to grow up, pull there heads out there arses and started acting according. Before anybody states that I was picking on NK, I 1-4-1 my own team 3 times. I ref a team exactly the same, wether there has been trouble, there my own team, whatever, It makes no difference to me.
