Ripping it up for Epidemic

Guys my dm8 keeps blowing the top hat back inner oring and also swells the first outer sleeve oring on the rear cap making it hard to get the bolt out. I have only had this problem since I serviced my hyper 3 reg the other day. I know the back lpr reg should be 5 turns out from all the way in but can anyone tell what the hpr reg should be? Also any further assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks

James

Can't download the DM8 manual at the moment (slow internet) but from memory, you set the
Hyper 3 by firing over a chronometer & and adjusting the HPR using an allen key to reach the required fps. If it's firing hot, the chrono will show it.
Don't know if that's linked with the O-ring problem, though. Try downloading the manual, or take a look at matrixowners.com, pbnation.com (there's a section for DM8s), or contact DYE-Europe in Croydon either by phone or via the manufacturer's section in this site for further help.
I believe ASH-DYE operates on this site also.

I've just checked the manual for the SLG, which also uses the Hyper3 regulator.
Has a part been missed out when re-assembled, or a part put back incorrectly?
Might mean another taking-apart session, I know, but....

I have a manual and i do know my way around the gun, i have read that the standard operating pressure of the HPR is 145 psi which should chrono at around 280 fps. It also stated that this was three turns out from all the way in. I think i will check the HPR again inside and make sure nothing is missing etc. thanks for the help guys

Just guessing mate on the reg side, i just read that 3 turns out from all the way in would set it to 145 psi. So i would have thought that i would have to turn the reg in and no out more as counterclockwise increases pressure?
