Hi

Check that you have not damaged the battery cable in any way.
Check that the chip is fitted the right way around (the notch on the chip matches the notch on the chip carrier)
Are you using a stock chip?
Try unplugging the eyes, the solenoid and the membrane pad and hard start the board the way you tried before.

Sounds like a stupid question, but whats the solenoid?

im a n00b when it comes to e markers, or most markers infact :D

After removing the eyes, solenoid, and the membrane and hard starting the marker (without any luck), i plugged everything back in and the marker miraculously turned on!

However, it's now blinking a blue light at me, tried several new batteries with the same outcome, any ideas, is the gun trying to cycle?
