The UL frame is ok, it did shed a bit of weight, but is it worth spending all that cash on it?

I'd say no myself.

It didn't improve my ROF personally, but I didn't notice any real performance benefit. Nice if there is already one fitted to the gun (a la DM6), but I would be just as happy with a decent custom trigger performance-wise on any other DM/PM.

Yea, true...dont think it's worth spending £100+ on it. Jst get a decent trigger.

Also in favour of the DM4 if you're shopping the 2nd hand market is that because they have been around that much longer chances are the owner will have put more upgrades into it, also if I remember rightly the PMs have those nasty ribbon eyes (correct me if I'm wrong), they work fine but are much easier to damage if you're taking the gun apart, the DM4 has nice sturdy cables.
At the end of the day they're both good guns, best bet is the try em and see, both are going really cheap on the boards at the moment.
