It may well be the wires at the solenoid end that are causing the trouble.

Sometimes the solder breaks but you cant see it, as the heatshrink covers the joint and holds the broken wire in place so it looks as though there is no problem.

Give the wires a gentle tug at the solenoid end and see if this is the case. If so, you should be able to solder the wire back on if you have a soldering iron.

A better harness used on the DM5's is available from DYE. It has a connector that slides over the solenoid pins and prevents this problem from occuring. You will have to remove the old wires and clean the solder off the Solenoid pins to fit the new connector but will be worth it in the long run.
