DM4 Chip

I've just got a new DM4 through and it's got a different chip in it and I was wondering if any of you knew what it was, and if so, any links to the manual.

It has 'MRAMP 8-15' written on it. Not much to go on but I'm sure someones got the same out there.

You will probably have a better chance of pinning down which chip it is by the light sequence in configure mode. What colour lights show up?

its a dye chip with ramping for milleniumsstarts at 7.5 and ramps to 15 only good for milleniums all other features are as standard. dye sell them for £10 so not worth much

Is the gun second hand? No new DM's apart from the DM6 come with anything other than Uncapped Semi as standard.

You could of course get an Ultralite frame for your DM4, which would give you 3 selectable modes; Uncapped Semi, PSP and Millennium ramp.

It is second hand, the chap wasn't too sure on the chip but that sounds about right with the name and numbers. Cheers.

However, I've just tried to fire the gun and nothing is happening. Before I aired it up as it came I adjusted the trigger frame/foregrip as it was wobbly and so don't know if there was a problem before I did this or not. However, the gun airs up and the trigger works (with eyes off) as the lights flash but the bolt does not fire. What I've tried so far to fix it:

1) New battery
2) Replaced most of the o-rings as after a bit it sounded like there was a leak form the bolt. This has just about gone now.
3)Re-lubed the bolt incase it was bolt stick

Any ideas? All airs up fine, just not shooting.

Switched the eyes off?
With eyes off, make sure you have turnd teh on off under teh barrel so its verticle, which gasses teh gun up...should cock when this occurs.

If it still wont fire, can you hear teh solenoid clicking?

Make sure solenoid wires arent broken...very common.

Having taken a look and tried different things, I think that it's the noid that's gone or the wires from/to it. There is no click with eyes on or off, certainly not the noise that I had with my last DM.

The wires connecting to the board have started to go through in such a way that you can see the metal, so that might be affecting it.

Anyknow know if a replacement is free?

The noid wores should be replaced in that case matey....it sint too hard DY could do it for you if you needed them to.
