I'm sure there is a truck depot at Colchester...might be a Scan truck or something very similar if it isn't Colchester it is Clacton still those are the nearest to your area i know of. Oh and there is Ernest Doe at Ulting they sell and repair tractors, John Deere is in Halstead? so look through the yellow pages.

Them really big truck tyres are a pain to move around! It is easier to just use lots of car tyres. You can get quite imaginative with the shapes you make, they are really sturdy if you build them together well, and best of all. Places like A T S have to pay loads to get rid of them so if you agree to take a lot, they will deliver them to you for free! If you are very cheeky, you can even get them to pay you to have them! Honest!!!!!

Ok for your DIY field I would not use tires cause they SUCK! That is unless you get some good sized ones. But then you have to find a way to secure them so they don't fall over. If you use car tires to get bunkers to the desired size of a coke can you have to stack them next to each other then you have gaps.

Pallets suck because of what you listed. That is unless you use the plastic ones. Which are sweet and nail free. They would survive the rain and what ever else gets thrown at them.

BIG OL' tubes Rule!!! Contact the site owner or manager at Birmingham site and see if he can point you in the right direction. Ask Chip to look around on base for some scraps they were doing some sort of construction there before I left and I remember seeing some of them Tubes. Hope that helps some.:D

I personally would bribe bex what ever it takes if suitably charged I am sure she too could blag any thing;)

Don't go there with innertubes bam things expand in the sun and explode. When I first got into paintball we bulit a tottaly concept site all flatish open feilds not a tree in sight.

Lorry tyres are good a pain to move but then their own weight holds them in position.

Round bales are workable and do the job but are not a long term feature.

Then it gets expencive villages ect. cotton reels are good but very heavy to move I am still cross with my dad for not getting his act togther and picking up my last blagged collection:rolleyes:

good luck and if you need any help even if it';s only moral support ............

Used conveyor belt sections work well and are reasonably abundant if you know where to look. The field I used to be at did a lot with plastic coffin covers and plastic pallets from grocery stores. Old dog houses and plastic kiddie playhouses work as well and present the possibilities of having fields that are unique to play on and fun to name. Plastic industrial barrels are quite common. When linked together, old hubcaps and license plates can make good bunkers too, though it's hard to find enough of them to make a whole field out of them. Used office and school cubicles aren't hard to find, and cheap used (damaged) furniture and pianos would be great too.
