DIY concept fields

OK need some input into building a concept field.

I really like the big pipe idea, but what the hell are they and where can i get them? (CHEAP or FREE)

Any other ideas? I dont wanna use the hay bail thing as the rats would eat them all and they are too fat already

Only people to talk to about getting the hyperball tubes (corrogated tubing if I'm not mistaken) is from someone in the construction biz. You could purchase the stuff yourself however we're talking about $5000 or more for a fields worth of tubes.

Pallets are your best bet, drive around some industrial estates and serach for an abundance of pallets. Then either ask if you can have them, or just nick them!!
The big pipes are used for sewage, and water works so speak to some construction companies. They will also be able to sort you out with the safety netting you may need.

Don't forget to bull**** the council 'cos the depth at which the big Hyperball uprights have to be sunk into the ground will make the description of a removable structure nonsense so um....avoid the truth when asked...this was done at Outer Limits so it was allowed to be built. Local council may even be the place to gain the parts to make it in the first place, gonna be expensive either way. Old Tyres are easy to get from most all breakers yards, a commercial breakers would even have truck tyres...much bigger

Any one seen any water works with big pipes left close by near cambridge?

whats wrong with pallets??? stack them and put netting in front of them... as good as thoe plastic tubes altho u doo like those i like more square feild better than rounded feilds

pallets are bad because....

1. Full of nails - Safety is my main concern
2. They look like crap, Want a professional field, not a knocked together affair
3. Everyone else already has palletes and i wanna encourage people with a NEW field
4. THEY ARE PALLETS

you might also wanna try the industrial size cable reels - big wooden wheel things. Only problem with them is that if placed next to each other they leave a nasty hole at the base where you roll them together, but it can be easily patched

ya i played on a feild made completaly out of those very bad feild to play on and they were painted like easter eggs
