I want to point out firstly,

Jackass and all that, yes it has a disclaimer, yes they may not be normal but kids watch this and ARE influenced, I have worked in schools and colleges and have seen it. They are stupid cause they are easily led (not all but some)
...and i am that kid....OWWW MY ****ING EYE!!!!

hehehe. If u don't appreciate the show for what it is, don't watch it. They know the dangers, they just ignore them, thus the disclaimer. And kids shouldn't be watching jackass anyway, it past their bedtimes, and therefore i blame...

THE PARENTS!!!

I've broke many a bone trying that "jackass" crap before it was even dreamed up by Brandon and Co. Its just my mates and i never had a bloody camcorder. ffs!

You see I'm not saying i don't like Jackass (i love it) but I am trying to put the point forward in terms of P8ntball.

Yea I know that many peolpe wish they had filmed themselves and sent it to MTV but they are the "lucky ones" It is also how far you can push your own personal boundries.

And in this day and age the kids rule the parents what with all the laws that protect them. Not that i agree with beating kids, far from it but some of the discipline "skills" my parents used when I was being a right little $hit "beat some sense" into me.

No they are lippy and have no respect for adults, parents teachers etc.

They have TVs in the bedroom and prob have sky and cable and it is hard for the parents to police them 24/7

I agree matey. The above post was partly a jest (the parents part)

Kids really are getting worse and worse. Lippy little ****ers, that you can't hit for fear and been put in jail, and they know this. I grew up in a rough area, and it u stepped outta line u got what was coming to you.

And thats whats missing today. Its quite rare these days to even see a fight in the school yard. When i was a school there was one every break time!!!

I an't trying to promote violence in youngsters, but it sure as hell an't a bad thing. From a very early age they are taugh violence solves nothing. Then why are we currently fighting a war? if it solves nothing, why don't we just sit down with Mr Laden over a nice cup of earl grey and talk things over?

Youngsters are puffs, even a 5 minute walk is too much for some, and they NEED a lift.

BLEH!

Dude I agree, Violence solves nothing BUT discipline can not be forced some times any other way and the parents can do nothing about it.

We had a marshalling course the other week and kids games are a mine field of helpig them and being labeled as a kiddy fiddler if you touch them and I mean on the top of the head, if no one else is watching you and they say something you can be put in prision for actually doing nothing.

Kids and the law these days is a very dangerous area so I want to stay away from them and KNOW i am safe.
