Mello Has a point there. i Know a couple of sponsored teams who removed the magneticness out of the magna's and replaced them with the old halo stuff as they didnt like them, but still looked as if they were using magna's

I find it a bit of a futile argument to be honest.

Everyone's face / head is different so different people will like different masks. That's why there's so many out there and why we aren't all wearing on definitive 'best mask on the market'. When it comes to buying a mask it's all down to personal preference - which has been seen in this discussion. Some people HATE it some people LOVE it :)

thats the way i see it anyway

i4s are terribly made one ball to the face and your puking up paint for a week
dont get shot in the face then.

i have been wearing them now for a good bit of time. and i dont find a problem with them. i think they look great and they fit good to my face too.
they dont let anymore paint though then any other goggles.

it dont matter what you wear our shoot there are always people saying somthink bad about it.

maybe its just because they cant get them for free.
so they have to attack it.

TBH I have always thought of Dye goggles to be some of the better quality ones on the market, the only drawback being the amount of effort it took to switch lenses etc.

The I4s have addressed this, other than handling a pair in Paris and those on the Dye stand at WC I have no experience of wearing them, but I can't quite fathom why the OP has such strong views against them.

They were, after all, developed with input from some of the world's best players, but, hey, maybe they don't get shot in the face much, though of those who I have have seen certainly weren't puking up paint afterwards!

events are probably the best around that dont feel like your wearing a cheap bit of plastic and they actually have more bounces then any other mask i know out there :)

the i4s are tiny and dont cover much at all
you gotta post the pic of chris with his i4 on as they are just not working for him at all

I think Kirby is giving his obvious years of knowledge, for the betterment of the paintball community, despite his join date on the forums only being Dec last year I expect he has been playing for years and is only too pleased to offer his wealth of paintball interlect.

For those of you old enough to remember whipper snappers everything was an improvement, the evolution of the sport and the equipment is constant, I for one will not be purchasing i4's, not because I dont like them or have formed an opinion before trying them, simply because I wont be able to fit all of my chins in there

NOT TRUE ,although the i4's are close to the mouth they have a ridged system to stop the paint going into youre mouth o have tested this i had a mate shoot at the mouth bit i got the smallest amount of paint in my mouth.
