Numbers were far from even from what I heard. I couldn't make the game because of unforeseen circumstances, however only a few of the CPM were able to make it and overall I believe we had about 30 players?
HMC had 60 maybe? Correct me if i'm wrong

Seriously it was 2:3 with HMC having the higher numbers, yet the score makes it seem more like it was 1:3

The numbers were no where even. And npf will never give you the true facts. To answer Papa G we had maybe 5 tops from the CPM. If we had say another 20 we may be getting somewhere near HMC numbers.

Anyway over with the ranting. I have just friended Chuck Norris and he says he would love to play on USDE so just you watch out Morph

Diamond Wars is a fantastic series and i for one can't wait to play for the USDE once more, in what i hope will be yet another magical year at NPF.

Porkington, please remember that what I am about to say is not against yourself but just what I have read.

How can anybody say that the USDE have been on the slide or about any reason for such when last year ended so close??

Remark against any single person could look bad bud so prob best if we all take heed and do not do this.

I agree that over the last few series there have been imbalances on numbers for both sides. This has led to some interesting events, both sides are guilty of moaning to each other when the other corporation has more numbers, and they lose, but remember its a game over 10 episodes and numbers do change.
Paintfest 2 yrs ago was a prime example when the majority of the HMC left to watch the Grand Prix we were left with minimal forces but we carried on.

And yes It is about people like me who recruit, as lots of you know i'm very active on the UKS and i do my best to recruit for the HMC and also for Diamond Wars, but you have also a couple of the Penetrators who also try and recruit for the USDE.

Whats the answer I dont know, the new series has started with lots of changes, I've not played yet mainly due to finances and a few changes in my personal life, and lets face it the current financial climate makes it hard for the average NPF player who are not in well paid jobs.

So i say suport your corporation when you can, lets bring the fun back into DW, understand that occasionally you may be outnumbered, but so remember the British at Zulu Dawn... a smalller well organised force can be better than a large one.

If you play USDE support guys like Rich Hands and Leigh Smith who are 2 great guys let them shape the team and just play.

And as ive now retired as commander. Wanna have fun come join me on the HMC and lets keep smashing the USDE
