True story

When we were at Toulouse we bought Zap to load up for the first game as we were starting early and couldn't get our usual Diablo. plus we got suckered in their buy 3 get one free Millennium deal.

Was this magic "Poor Performance" stuff and looked OK.

Came off the field after the first game and the other guys damm nearly decked us as they had bruises all over them but no damm breaks (we lost BTW).

So we threw away 4 cases of paint (2 unopened) straight away, bought Blaze and qualified third out of 54 Novice teams.

My motto

There's a reason it is cheap and why they give it away - think about it, it's still business
Thunder wouldn't use anything else but Diablo - especially not at any big tourney were it matters.

And no - we are not sponsored by Diablo (unfortunately!)

That's great. Thanks for sharing that twice with us.

You know I am just messin.:D I would like to say that we shot some "PRO PERFORMANCE" kryptonizer at campaign last year and it was cherry. All paint no matter what you shoot has good batches and bad batches. For example: Northern Diablo Cup last year we bought 10 cases of RP Scherer All Star. Supposed to be some kick ass paint. After the first game we threw away 8 cases of it. Bad batch of paint. I still don't see how the pro perfromance you shot bounced like you say. I am not calling you a liar b/c Thunder are my dawgs, but I know that the pro performance shell is as brittle as hellfire. Just seems strange to me. :D

No idea about the paint, but was sold by Camp (not suprising as they distribute Zap in France :))

I agree that paint is good and bad - indeed we have had $hite Blaze. But IMHO all the Diablo i've shot has been more consistant than the quality of Zap.

Thunder actually was formed by Phoenix as Phoenix Thunder and they gave us a lot of free paint. End of 2000 our deal changed and we were offered a deal which involved "free paint" but the numbers didn't add up when you have to provide marshalls etc for free. Plus we had got sooo hacked off with the quality of the paint we were going to move anyway.

We are helped by LPS who aren't tied to ANY paint brand so we can shoot anything, RP, Zap, Diablo, Victory etc etc. But I don't think we have shot anything but Diablo since Mayhem last year.

Sorry man, couldn't resist. I'll behave from now on.:D
No you will not behave you liar. All you do is misbehave. You shoot your free paint and I will shoot my free paint and we will meet in the middle. :D

I've had good and bad experiences with both paints....it all depends on the batch. I've had more luck with Diablo but the last couple of batches sucked. As far as bore sizes go....all I can say is FREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!! True, it can be pricey...but in the end..it's worth it!!!!!!
