Jeeves If you are only making 1 mistake a day yo are better than me. I know i make mistakes but its almost the "how you correct them" that counts.

I see the idea of thinking ahead and knowing what you are going to do 4 moves b4 you do it.

Walker, thanks for the other tip, it makes sense. Don't try to be good just be good, people have a way of seeing you for what you are and if you are a self indulgent ar$e hole then you will be picked out for it.

I am alright with keeping into my bunker and communication etc., but my main problem is when I should move up to the next bunker or not. I guess theres still some fear of being hit or maybe mucking it up for the team. I know that the best time to move is when you have control and have made opposition go behind their bunkers, but when I play, I can never seem to do it. It has only happened a couple of times but I suppose I just need to be more relaxed and daring.

What do you guys think?

You show me someone who never makes a mistake and i will show u a lier!!!

The idea is to try not to make the same mistake again...all part of the learning process (we r all gr8 p/ballers on the sidelines!!!!)

Get a m8 2 watch u play..then comment on you afterwards.

Play with/against players better than yourself......any1 can look good 'lighting-up' a lesser team.

You can read a million articles and spit out all the "correct" answers but you're only gonna be able to put whatever you learn into practice by doing. Knowledge isn't action. Walker is right. Just go-- You learn when to move by moving. Yes, you will get shot. So what? The purpose of practice with regards to individual skills should be to always push the envelope. You won't discover the boundaries of your ability unless and until you try to exceed them. I absolutely guarantee you there are far more opportunities available to move during a game than the great majority of players ever take advantage of.

See, I agree with that too, BUT the more knowledge you have the more you can try to put into practice.

It is a combination of Just do it, but also the knowledge that we have that makes a lucky move into a planned move.

You gotta have the balls to do it (as it were) but also not take stupid risks that if you had known what to look for could in a few minutes been a planned and we executed move.

Of course you will make mistakes, no body is perfect. And yes learn from your own mistakes but there is no harm in being prepared to start with.

I ain't saying read every article ever written but that one was there that fitted the question of knowing when to go so as not to get hit.

But the main thing is have fun:D :D :D
