Tomtimus Prime ; I wear a 34 in jeans and these pants fit. The beauty of DYE pants is they have decent velcro strappers either side of the waist too, to tighten or loosen the fit as is comfortable to you. Hope that makes sense and helps. Would you like them ?

XL is 36.5" to 40.5" waist; inseam 31.5"

I'm a 32" jeans person myself and used to own a pair of DYE C9 olive pants (medium).

These fit perfectly around the waist with the exception that the inseam (30.5") was a bit on the short side. I'm assuming you have to pull those velcro straps real tight to have those XL sized pants sit around a 32-34" waist without sagging down!

... not really, no ! Maybe they've shrunk a bit in the wash then but they fit me as a 34, comfortably without having to pull the straps real tight !!
