I'm sure most of us could start relatively civilised then it's a short stroll to debauchery city, or perhaps it would be more fun the other way round

<p>Thanks everyone who participated in our survey and supported the idea. Although Sunday was the preferred day by one vote, we find that Friday is the best to hold the event on, since most of you wanted to combine the pub meet with a dinner and club crawl
<p>I am happy to annouce that our first monthly gathering will be held on <b>Friday, the 5th</b> of December 2003 at the <b><a href="http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/show.shtml/38/"> Shakespeares Head on Kingsway in Holburn</a></b>, <b>from 1800h</b>. Afterwards we shall find a nice diner nearby and head off to Camden (or other club) until early Saturday morning!
