Having fields that promote faster play is what the Millenium has done isn't it?

Many field setups in uk tourneys hinder faster play by the majority, by this I mean only a minority of teams/players will play the fields faster and not sit on their asses all game-long.

Getting a guy in the 50 or even on the other teams 40 is far more enjoyable to watch than a team breaking short all the time.

Thats nice DW, but the thread is a suggestion for D7 and Heavens Gate. The players at these events want NPPL or Millennium style fields.

Originally i hated the design of the d7 fields but i have come to respect the improvements they have created in my teams play. They force you to dominate the field from the breakout, play bunkers super tight, snap shoot well and keep your opposition under the cosh. The fields aren't good for spectators but since there aren't any anyrate that's hardly a problem.

As for bunkers being too small. This is a sport after all and if you don't have the skills in other parts of your game to compensate for being over weight perhaps you should get down the gym and stop stuffing burgers down your throat.

My apologies to any exceptionally tall people who play as i know that it is tough for you to fit behind most d7 bunkers without some limb or appendage sticking out. However, this sport does favour small players at all levels and regrettably size will eventually cap your potential to play at higher levels. Unfortunately that's the way the cookie crumbles.
