Dartford 7s April Results

Well we had not quite as good a day this month as last.

But as always the scores alone dont tell the full story.

After our first outing at the first leg with a couple of very good guest players ( Russ from Chameleons and Rolland from Tagged Kidz ) we won every game in Div 4.

Great !!!

BUT this meant promotion to Div 3 for this leg, very exited but had a rough morning including AFGM wiping us off the field in about 30 seconds ( cheers guys, great game ).

The afternoon went much better with two or three games going down to one on ones.

Already looking forward to Leg 3, we WILL be there.

Hopefully we can impliment the hard lessons we learned on Sunday and bounce straight back up to Div 3 for Leg 4.

Yeah we were a bit suprised as well!, nice of you guys to arrange the two players for us so we could play this weekend....

i would like to thank Kierran, liz, dave and marshalls on field1 for great marshallng (and great shields they have on there as well ) and field 3 (apart from the chrony marshall for taking all day trying to find trigger bounce) did some great marshalling as we played on there 4 times. would like to thank the 3 guest players and they know who they are. would like to mension there names but dont know if its ok with them. and would like to thank every one in division 3 for great games.


problems: they only problem we had during the day was marshalling on field 2. as all the marshalls on there recons "nuetral player" call is no longer in use and one of my player was shot in the neck point blank while being held down by the marshall.

i think these marshall should start reading the rule book again.

(only being honest here) and i know this incident was seen by people off field. so if you saw this incident please put your opions up on here.

From myself and the Zone boys , not sexist just no females on the team yet! i would like to thank everybody who we had to play yesterday every game was very very hard. Congratulations to wolf for taking 1st place in div 2 though what a close final call on points for all teams.

To Dave , jiggy, and liz team team send there thanks for what you have set out to do and give us southern teams somewhere to put our skills to the test and for teams to meet up and compete against each other. Fields were much much better this time around , And Dave keep up the great work but please do not burn yourself out.

To all the marshalls as I have said before this is one job not many people want to do and what you guys do it should be rewarded so much more. Many thanks for putting up with all of us players yesterday .

it was more of a scratch team than anything method were mate. i hadn't played in a few months and neither had one of the other guys who came with me and neither had one of the method guys. When we won we won fooking good
