The dark ram cap puts the bolt in a more "halo friendly" position than my stock alias, so I don't think you need one on a dark.

Delrin piston's worked well when I put them in but hardly an essential upgrade

Glen - you're sh*t

Beaker you're just jealous my bullet chucker is better than yours. Now get back in your hidey hole and go and review some O rings or something useful, Fantaboy.

Hmmmm, leave it be, just put Ultimate Evil Bullets in it and you'll be fine. I've owned and upgraded enuff guns to know that with my Dark, if I wasn't the greatest player in the UK before, I certainly am now. Nuff said.
When will you start giving seminars? I might fly back for one especially ;)

Might be worth putting some delrin valves in the lprs a le violent products. People seem to think they offer a bit better consistency?
Yeah because they paid money for them!

As I said in the last WPG, the biggest problem with timmy's comes from people fcuking with them. If it works, don't screw it up! ;) :D

Unless you really know what you are doing I wouldn't get into the valve, and even then if you know what you are doing you will know you don't need to get into the valve ;)

I've been into the valve on one of my guns, only once, and that was purely because a piece of dirt got in there and made it leak.

I've seen so many guns that are damaged because someone tried to fit aftermarket parts that are no real advantage over stock when they didn't have the ability to do it.

"my brand new gun doesn't work, it's a POS"

"did you take it apart?"

"no never"

"what are these torque marks on the screws"

"I took it apart to change the battery"

", so why are the reg body and main ram sleeve screws also marked? what are these solder marks on the wires?"

"I acccidently ripped the eyes out when changing them to WAS"

"what is this trigger?"

"it's an up"

"what is this ram? and ram cap?"

"It's shocktecks it stops me having to change bumpers"

"this gun doesn't have bumpers as stock, what is the teflon around this screw?"

"I accidently put too long a screw in from another gun and drove it through the ram sleeve, I put that on there to stop it leaking"

"what is this gauge? it's a mini gauge which really is useless due to it's innaccuracy and pressure range"

"it looked better than the ashcroft"

"So you've NEVER taken your gun apart?"

"No, NEVER it's brand new.... and it doesn't work"

 ;) :D A true story.

What's funny is they hate it when you put it back to stock and it works superbly. ;)

That's fair enough, but how many timmy users even know what that gauge indicates, or what it ought to read? Hold on, the correct reading will depend on the gun. Does it need to be there at all?
