I'm not saying I have a good shooting ability, but it doesn't help when the spread at about 20 feet is over 2 feet diameter...
Two words: "punter markers"... except I just got back from Sparklies Academy, and since I haven't been able to pick up my own marker yet, I used a site inferno - and they are definitely the most well maintained I've ever used... not quite the range as the "pro" guys, but hella fun!Originally posted by Stealthknight

To be fair, not all the ones I've used before were THAT bad, but there were definitely some "off days" when I could have thrown my paint more accurately!
yeah, infernos rock... it was a different site that I went to earlier this year that I was referring to my £180 paint bill... I don't actually know what the markers were, but it was a case of me shouting "rear right bunker"... then managing to shoot just about everything else on the field BUT said bunker...
Still, he was using the same markers too so I could have got up and walked straight at him and he wouldn't have hit me either...

I've played with some bad markers in my time... it's taken a year and a half of punter-days to make me realise that I really need to get my own marker, and stop paying through the nose for equipment that can *sometimes* be a little less well kept than it could be...

basically ionfernos are the best cos they r sturdy, easy to clean and worth the money, and accurate(to a degree).
