D7s 28th cheers all
Just wanted to say cheers to all the teams we played in Division 1. This was Quakes first appearance at the top, and after third place we hope it wont be the last. Cheers to all the Marshalls that got shot all day in the cold, including pinki who put my armband on so tight it fell off after tensing. Thanks to all the organisers of the event for doing this one off. Thanks to our sponsers, Ambush paintball, Subseven and hardballer.

I would just like to thank the Marshalls for working this weekend, it was bloody cold and they get always a roasting when it is less than perfect.
I think the marshalling was gererally good this weekend and above all consistant. They were on the ball and did it all without attitude.

Marshall of the day must go to Sam Telfer, I saw him running his a$$ off all day and he didn't take any crap.
We got -50 pts off him in the first game, our player still insists it was off the barricade. But Sam was very reasonable there was paint there and it had been rubbed, thats -50 and a 1-4-1.
it's in the rules, and he explained it all in a very polite and reasonable way.
We thought it may have been a bit harsh because it's the first game etc, but I saw him pulling 1-4-1's all day. It was always for playing on and always deserved.
Well done sam you really did an excellant job. (as did the other marshalls)

mods are on the ball as well - that was merged quickly,

i think sam did a bloody good job too (and he expected a slating

i was the small marshal on field3 and when i came on i saw some guy yelling abuse at him, i must have been there just standing and watching for 5 mins while he was screaming swear words.
point is sam stayed calm and played by the RULES the whole time. he explained what he did and never backed down.
......and quite rightly gave penalty points afterwards for the bad sportsmanship

Congrats to all the Marshalls, I felt there may have been a few dodgy ones but in all, probably one of the better D7's as regards decision making!
